Sweet for the price

Alert all readers! I know, I know, this feature isn’t about distortion pedals or effects for that matter but…I just had to let everyone know about The Squier Vintage Modified line of guitars that are out. As you know that these guitars are made by Fender and you would think  that this is a mere cheap beginners instrument well, think again. The feel and sound these guitars produce, I must say, is pretty sweet. Now, I’m not saying they are the best thing you will ever play and if that’s what you want you’ll have to pay premium prices for it. But, for what the squiers’ cost, you would be hard pressed to find better in this price range. Read about them below.

Chris Gill, the Fender Exec in charge of the Squier products at Fender, is on a serious roll of late. He and his designers have tapped into the left side of their brains and consistently introduced some great looking, great playing guitars that people want to own. And this year is no exception.

We don’t have much in the way of details yet, but one look tells you this is going to be a cool guitar — The Squier Vintage Modified Surf Stratocaster. The Surf Strat is your typical Strat but with cool Seymour Duncan Lipstick Pickups and the requisite surf colors: Sonic Blue, Surf Green, and Candy Apple Red.

Also, cool from Squier is a Tele with a VM Jazzmaster neck and Jazzmaster pickups called the Vintage Modified Telecaster Special. Same $300 price point and great look right out of the box.

Way to go Squier, keep ‘em coming!…More at Seriously Fresh New Squier Product
